During his second six, Thomas has so far acted in respect of: pre-action matters in a commercial landlord dispute, an injunction application arising from a licence agreement, interlocutory hearings, and several flight delay and personal injury claims.

Thomas has a particular interest in commercial, insolvency and property law, having completed work for his pupil supervisors in these practice areas. Of note was Thomas’ work in a Privy Council appeal from the Bahamas on whether assets are to be held on a common intention constructive trust or a resulting trust in a mixed domestic-business relationship.

Thomas has also completed work in Chambers’ practice areas of constitutional, employment and equality law, and is keen to experience all of Chambers’ practice areas.
